Matt Smith – Truespin Topside Soul
The tenth photo drop brings us back to one of the original Slaptap team riders, the ever popular pretty boy Matt Smith. After a recent trip to Cali for the blading cup Matt returned ready to go but the weather hasn't been great so this weekends trip involved a soggy drive to the lovely dry Minehead Eye Skatepark, Minehead.
This Saturday the plan was to try and avoid the bad weather and crowds by heading to the quiet somerset seaside town of Minehead. Unfortunatly there was a private party on when we arrived so we had to wait for a couple of hours enjoying the climbing wall and food on offer at the park. It was preferable to standing outside in what was to be one of the wettest weekends for a while.
Once in and skating, the park emptied out pretty quickly. This allowed us to set up the camera and capture a few snaps around the place. Matts eye was firmly set on the big sub box and managed to get a few clean photos on the beast. The favourite we decided was this truspin topside soul.
